Full Moon 29th/30th December 2020 in Cancer through the houses

F

As we come to close 2020, a year that will always remain in our memories and a year that we can acknowledge was a turning point both personally and collectively, we have a full moon in Cancer at 8 degrees.

A full moon illuminates something, and more often than not, illuminates that which we need to consider releasing. A full moon is not a time for new beginnings, but rather a culmination point that shows what we need to shed before our next new beginning. Coming at the end of 2020 I think we’re all ready for this release. Being in the sign of Cancer, it’s time to access an emotional release. What may be illuminated for you will be communicated to you through your emotions, and the degree to which you will understand the message depends on how well you know and connect with your emotions.

The Sabian Symbol for this full moon is “A small naked girl bends over a pond trying to catch a fish”. Highlighted here is to see with a child’s eyes, thus releasing the conditioning of society.

The full moon makes a square aspect with Chiron in Aries, showing that your ability to release conditioning and to be emotionally raw and vulnerable is held back by the insecurities of your Inner Child. So on thus full moon, tune into your emotions, see where you’re feeling insecure and shed the layer of conditioning that will release you into 2021 with a newness that serves you.

Check where 8 degrees of Cancer lies in your chart, and read on below for which house themes are being highlighted for you on this full moon. The more it aspects a planet or angle in your chart, the stronger you will feel this influence.
