We have one final special full moon in Capricorn this month, ending a series of eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn that have been occurring over the last few years. A full moon is always about endings and culminations, and this one represents one more visit back to the themes we’ve been exploring when the south node was in Capricorn (and all the Capricorn energy we’ve been experiencing) before moving on to really examining the new soul growth phase while the south node is in Sagittarius. It’s saying, “before we begin to face our beliefs head on and see where our beliefs hold us back, let’s revisit the obstacles that we built one more time and make sure we have truly removed them.”
For the new moon I took a look at the Sabian symbol, and I thought I’d do it again for this full moon, and it’s very telling. This full moon occurs at 13 degrees of Capricorn and so we look at the Sabian symbol for 14 Capricorn, which says “An Ancient bas-relief carved in granite remains a witness to a long-forgotten culture”. The emphasis in the interpretation of this symbol is on gaining historical perspective before moving forward. As one last revisit in Capricorn, this is very telling. We will put behind us our history now. The history is not forgotten, and we have many of our own statues and monuments (scars and wounds) that remind us of our history, but we no longer live our history, it is no longer dymanic, it is encapsulated in a memory.
So we are looking here at firmly putting our history, and especially our history as obstacle, behind us as we move forward now. On this full moon, the final piece to release will be revealed to you as you tune into it.

1st house
It is time to release the obstacles you have put in place around your identity and how you have represented yourself in the past few years. You can leave your history behind you and be born again as you truly wish to be. The way you have confined yourself and locked yourself into an identity are your own doing, and you can shed this like a skin. It is time to regain your self-authority on who you are and who you want to be, and to let go of the imposed authority and definitions of others. Let go of the guilt you carry and stop looking outside yourself for people to blame for who you have become. This is your chance to take back your power and strength and move forward with who you truly want to be.
2nd house
You are the authority on how you make money and on how much money you make and it is time to release the obstacles you think exist keeping you from your abundance. In the past you may have felt constrained by others or by circumstances from having the wealth you truly want, and it is time to realise that it was you who was buying into the belief that others have any power over you. Your self worth has often been tied up with what you are achieving and again you gave your power away to others to define what you are worth. Leave the past behind you, and really analyse what you value about yourself and what you value in life in general. You are the authority on all of this and it is time to walk ahead with integrity.
3rd house
Up until this point you may have been convinced that true education can only be achieved through traditional institutions. Has this left you feeling dissatisfied and has it deadened your zest for learning something new? You are the authority on what you learn and how you communicate. If you want to learn something, you do not need to enroll in a formal course. If you want to say something, you do not need to wait to be granted a voice by the powers that be. Find your own way to learn what you truly want, find your own way to say what you want to say. You no longer need to give your power away to traditional authority. You can do it your own way now.
4th house
You have been experiencing a lot of change in the structure and familiarity of your home and family life as the planets have been marching through this area of your life in the last six months and this has often made you feel unstable. You have held tightly to the traditions of family and you have relied on the familiar structure to maintain your emotional equilibrium. You are being asked now to take one further look at the ways that these structures have confined you, rather than truly nourished you. You are being asked to gently release and put to bed the history in your family that has kept you from your best emotional health. You are the authority on your emotional wealth being, not your family, and not your home. They can and will change over time, it is you who has to find your true inner rock and core that grounds you, releasing the need to have your external circumstances dictate how you feel.
5th house
You have the opportunity for one more look at who you have allowed as the authority on your own self-expression. In the past, especially in childhood, you may have looked to others to show you what is appropriate and inappropriate when expressing the deepest parts of yourself. You may have also believed that any creative expression you felt compelled to partake in must conform to traditionally accepted forms of art. You have been releasing all of these notions and on this full moon one more piece will be revealed to you, freeing the way forward for you to create your own structures and rules of creative expression. Something of the past, a much loved joy of childhood, may be illuminated now, and you will retrieve a part of yourself that you wish to take forward into the future.
6th house
With a Capricorn 6th house, you have struggled your whole life with guilt, the guilt you impose on yourself and the guilt you project onto others. You have a war going on regarding who the true authority is in all the everyday activities and occupations of your life. At work you have followed traditional paths, following the system and hoping for reward. In your health and habits you have followed the advice of the so-called experts. But all this has been falling away and you are awakening to the fact that you are the authority of your life in every single aspect, and that you create your own reality. It is time to let go of the past and the “way things are”. It is time to redefine your life for yourself on your own terms, and to let others do the same without imposing your ways onto others. It’s time to rebuild and redefine.
7th house
The balance of power in your relationship with your significant other has been a pain point recently, and is a theme that recurs in your life. You have been confined by your belief in traditional relationship structures, and this has held you back from the true connection you crave. A romantic relationship or significant relationship is crumbling, but it doesn’t mean it has to dissolve completely. You are the authority on how you want your relationships to be, and you can create your relationships the way you want them to be. You are not at the mercy of others, and you don’t have to have a relationship that doesn’t suit who you truly are. Take your authority back, and come from a place of what a true adult is, restoring the rightful balance in your relationship.
8th house
With a host of planets marching through your 8th house, and Pluto hovering here for many years, your life has been experiencing intense transformation. You are watching things crumble around you, and hopefully you’ve looked inside yourself to see the inner transformation blossom. You have seen people for who they truly are, and it has been painful, and perhaps one more betrayal will be revealed to you this full moon. But if you’ve been doing your inner work you have allowed these people to leave your life without a power struggle, because your true power comes from within, not from clinging onto things that do not serve you. Dark parts of your history have been on replay, and the sinister side of others have been seen, but you are nearly clear of this energy now and you have done so well. Hold on as you come out of this transformed, stronger, and with your head held high.
9th house
This has been a challenging time letting go of a host of limiting beliefs, and it is only the beginning as these beliefs are also part of the growth that is happening in the next 18 months. Your beliefs about how life should be are often very rigid, other times traditional, and this has meant a perhaps too narrow viewpoint of what life can be. You have been convinced life should be one way, and yet as life changes and things fall away, these beliefs have been challenged, especially in the past year. Don’t hold on to things from the past that do not serve you, especially your limiting beliefs. You are the authority on what you believe and you can change what you believe at any time, and this is so magical and powerful. One more powerful limiting belief is brought to light on this full moon, one that has been cemented in since childhood, and it is time to release it.
10th house
In your career and who you want to be in the world, you have followed a traditional path, believing that they are traditions for a reason. But it is time to ask yourself one more time whether this is really true. Society is changing, and we are all witnessing it, and things will not go back to the way they were. It is time to realise that you are the authority of the path you choose, in your career, in how you contribute to the world and who you are out in the world. We are at a turning point in history, and you will move forward into the future more easily if you allow the crumbling to pass by easily, and you look forward to what you can create instead. The next period for you will have you intently examining your beliefs, so make sure you are the authority on what you believe and the way you build your life.
11th house
In the past 6 to 12 months, your friendship groups or your interest groups have been undergoing structural change. When foundations change we all feel unstable, but we are making way for something new. Have you kept the same friends since childhood? Perhaps it is time to make new friends and make new traditions. Have your interest groups and causes disappointed you? Perhaps it’s time to forge your own path and take on a new cause. Or perhaps you have felt confined and restricted by these groups and associations, and you are emerging into the adulthood of your friendships, creating new structures and foundations that better serve you. It’s ok for some friends to become your history rather than your future, and for some causes to be left behind. Take one more look.
12th house
This has been a trying time of letting go and taking a leap of faith into a new future. Releasing the structures that have had a hold on you, releasing the bars that have kept you imprisoned in a life you don’t want and doesn’t fit you, has been the name of the game. Your childhood has resurfaced, and you have been challenged to release and forgive. Importantly it’s time to forgive yourself. You are restructuring your connection to the spiritual realm, and letting go of the spiritual traditions that do not serve you. You are simultaneously firming up your own sense of self and making it more permeable, as you take the leap of faith into a new future that is free of your past. Take one more look at a structure or cage that needs to be released, and the clue will tie to something from your past. You are the authority of your uniqueness, and your uniqueness will be maintained as you take the leap into the future.
