How are you feeling with all of this Aquarian energy? With the new moon on the 11th February we will have 6 planets focusing their energy in Aquarius. This new moon is at 23 degrees of Aquarius, and after a little over a month of getting used to the Aquarian energy in our lives, it’s time to focus in and potentially set a new intention. With the big players of Jupiter and Saturn staying in the sign all year, and Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, keeping a close square with Saturn there this year, we want to be able to harness the Aquarian energy as soon as we can, and this new moon offers us a focus to do that.
The new moon doesn’t make any aspects with any other planets, other than sharing in all the energy that is taking place in Aquarius.

You are perhaps feeling somewhat unsettled during this time, like your nerves are a live-wire, and you feel electrified in some way. All this Aquarian energy is bringing you a bunch of new insights and sensations that are coming into view, even if they’re not so clear right now. But as you find your way forward, and launch into this newest version of yourself that is emerging right now, don’t forget what you have carried forward to this point from your life experience. You might feel eager to create rapid and extreme change in your life right now, but don’t leave behind or reject the past version of you. He or she has much that you will need on your path forward. On this new moon, set the intention to honour your past and keep sacred the wisdom that they have accrued on thus far.
2nd house
You may be feeling an extreme need to change the way you make money to better align with your higher ideals and values and the life you want to live with all this Aquarian energy in your second house. Be aware though of how this need might also be a form of escape, that may feel liberating at first, but does not truly ground the change you truly want and need. On this new moon, you are being called to set a new intention in these areas of your life but only after you have consulted and tuned in to the wisdom of the totality of your past experiences. The past you has important wisdom that needs to be acknowledged, and they hold valuable information that can set your new intention of a path that is truly liberating and life changing.
7th house
You may be feeling so-called itchy feet regarding your relationship with your significant other. Perhaps the grass looks greener and more exciting and liberating elsewhere, or perhaps you just want to be alone. Or if you don’t have a significant other, then perhaps you feel you would experience greater freedom and revolution in a relationship and you are wanting to focus all of your energy in making this dream come true. On this new moon you are being called to set an intention to bring forward everything you have learned about what you want and need in a significant other, and to ensure you are not repeating a pattern with all this energy injection in your seventh house Aquarius. Don’t make a new start without first consulting with the accumulated wisdom of your past experiences. Don’t go for new just to experience a change – learn first what sort of newness would truly liberate you.
8th house
You may be feeling the strong electrified desire to totally transform your life, especially as it pertains to your reliance on others. With all this Aquarian energy in your eighth house, you may be feeling stifled by others, or that others are too close for comfort, and that their values and demands on you are becoming suffocating. On this new moon you are being called to set an intention to bring forward everything you have learned from yourself and others, and to merge that knowledge in creating a future of true growth at a soul level.
